Updated: May 28, 2024

Last lesson we talked briefly about how to read a chess board. This will be a shorter lesson than the last. On the bottom of the board (The White Side) from left to right we have A1, B1, C1, D1, E1, F1, G1 and H1 on the bottom of the board we have from bottom to top 1 ,2 ,3 ,4 ,5 ,6 ,7 and 8. Every time you move, see what letter it is on and then check what number it's on and you've read a chess board. The rest is easy now just remember where the coordinates are and you will be able to read a chess book in no time. Next lesson you will move to semi advance and learn some basic strategies. See you then.
